Thank you for deciding to join Carol Smith for The Wedding Cake Lounge membership.
To make sure this process works to the best possible outcome, it is important we share an understanding about how we work together.
Sessions
Group Coaching Calls
- At least once a month (except for Bank Holidays) there will be a 1 hour (approx.) group coaching call on a specific topic. If you cannot make the session, it will be available in your members area within 24hrs.
Tutorials and relevant documents
Access to Content
As a member, you will have access to tutorials, workshops, downloadable content, and a community forum related to wedding cake making. All content provided is for educational purposes only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior consent from Cakes by Carol.
Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Service, including tutorials, workshops, downloadable content, and forum discussions, is the intellectual property of Cakes by Carol. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent.
In Person Group Coaching
- There is no 1:1 contact with Carol on this programme. All questions/contact will be in the live sessions or via the support group in the members area.
I will bring myself free of distractions to every coaching session and will always do my best to accommodate times that suit you. I respectfully ask that you also bring yourself to the sessions free from any distractions.
Payment
Payment will be made at either a yearly subscription of £299.99 or a monthly subscription of £29.99
If you join today, the price will never increase whether you pay per month or yearly whilst you are a member of The Wedding Cake Lounge.
Payment monthly is a payment plan and cannot be opted out of during the agreed period of 6 months. If a payment is missed the amount still owed for the agreed plan is then payable immediately.
- The payments are non-refundable.

Relationship
We are entering into a coaching relationship and there is not, or will there ever be, any kind of psychological counselling.
Member Conduct
You agree to use the Service responsibly and refrain from engaging in any conduct that may be considered unlawful, offensive, or harmful to others. This includes but is not limited to harassment, discrimination, or the dissemination of harmful content.
Misunderstandings
An important part of the coaching relationship is the coach’s role in finding challenges and encouraging the client to push themselves. If Carol does or says anything that upsets you please do let her know. She wants to provide you with the support you need and believes that honesty and trust are critical for your relationship to grow. Carol wants this to be a safe environment for you to come and learn with confidence.

- You recognise that in the course of our work together you may divulge goals, future plans, business affairs, personal and private information. Carol will not at any time, either directly or indirectly, voluntarily use any such information for her own benefit or disclose it to a third party.
All materials are for your use only – if found to be in breach of this requirement by issue of the content, legal remedy will be taken.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.

I do not offer a refund, because as soon as you sign up you have access to me, the Support group, the teaching platform, videos, PDFs and all the bonuses in the membership.
THE WEDDING CAKE LOUNGE – Online Cake Membership, The Wedding Cake Lounge is the intellectual property of Carol Smith of Cakes By Carol, 66 North Street, Stilton, Peterborough PE7 3RP and you are free to replicate this design for your own cake making purposes. However you are prohibited from using this course content and design in any classes that you may wish to teach in the future.
Afternoon Tea Bonus T&Cs
- Eligibility: This offer is limited to the first 10 new online members of The Wedding Cake Lounge who sign up within the 48-hour offer period. Existing members are excluded.
- Afternoon Tea Details: The free afternoon tea date will be held at a location and time determined by Carol and Shane. Winners will be notified via the email address they used for membership signup.
- Reservation: Winners must confirm their attendance within 72 hours of notification to secure their spot. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting the offer.
- Dietary Restrictions: Please notify The Wedding Cake Lounge of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking confirmation. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
- Cancellation: In the event of unforeseen circumstances that require Carol and Shane to cancel the afternoon tea date, winners will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of their membership fee.
- Membership: By accepting the free afternoon tea, you agree to the standard membership terms and conditions of The Wedding Cake Lounge. Our standard cancellation policy applies.
