I have been a chef for 20 years and have previously made celebration cakes for friends and family as a sideline.
I am registered with the Local Authority's Health & Enviromental Services and I am regularly visited by them to check my compliance with the 1990 Food Safety Act, Food Safety (general food hygiene) Regulations 1995 and Temperature control Regulations 1995.
